Polo lessons take place outdoors at
the Newport Polo Club's private arena in Portsmouth (not located at Glen
Farm) during the spring, summer and fall, weather permitting, and indoors
in inclement weather or during
the winter months. Group Instruction is the ideal format
to apply newly learned skills within the context of actual
play. Private lessons also available. Lessons proceeds
at the pace of the students. Riding instructions also
available.
Many of the players in the Newport
International Polo Series got their start through the
Newport Polo Club's lesson program.
