Party is responsible for arriving early to reserve area

Size & location of reserved area must be pre-approved by Newport Polo;

Booking requires 25% deposit

• With tent    (If you intend to install a tent)

$15/person, children of age 15 and younger are admitted free of charge

Area to be designated by Newport Polo

Party is responsible for tent rental costs & arrangements;

Party must provide valid Certificate of Flame Resistance for tent

Booking requires 25% deposit

• Admission tickets must be purchased from Newport Polo in full, at least two weeks in advance of event to allow enough time for Party to distribute to guests
• Permission to arrive & set up before entry gates open is only granted to Parties with prepaid tickets furnished by Newport Polo
• All guests must present proper admission ticket at entry gates; no admission without ticket.  Guest lists can not be accommodated at the entry gates
• Ticket Refund available if cancellation of match occurs prior to start of match (due to inclement weather)
• No limit to number of paid guests
• Party is responsible for furnishing seating
• Catering and tailgate picnics are welcome, at the Party’s arrangement
• BYOB or bulk purchases from Twisted Pony Bar may be arranged in advance: 401-847-7090

 B. Box Seating:                    Subscribers Enclosure: Table Seating/Tent:

  Admission: $15/person;

·      Limit: minimum of 8 and maximum of 150 people including children, based on availability for given date,

·      Reserved Tables: 8-10 people per table; floor length white-clothed 60” round tables, potted centerpieces provided;  Party may add own decoration to tables

• 30’x60’ white tent with side panels, adjacent to the tables is available for exclusive or shared use, based on availability
• Bar service with wait staff provided by Newport Polo – bar menu available in advance to make selections; advanced notice is helpful to ensure your specifications
• No outside beverages permitted within Subscribers Enclosure, as per Liquor License
• Bar tab payment by cash, credit card or corporate check at close of tab
• Food Catering at Party’s arrangement
• All guests must present proper admission ticket at entry gate; no admission without ticket.  Guest lists can not be accommodated at the entry gates
• Subscribers Enclosure staff/host will assist guests to Party's reserved tables
• Ticket Refund available if cancellation of match occurs prior to start of match (due to inclement weather)
• Deposit of 50% required upon selection of date to secure table reservation
• Balance of tickets must be purchased from Newport Polo, at least two weeks in advance of event to allow enough time for Party to distribute to guests

C. Food/Beverage

• All food or catering to be arranged by party, using the provider of their own choosing

• Grillmasters is on location for walk-up concessions or party platters for advanced orders: (401) 832-1645; Other catering referrals also available upon request.

E. Transportation

• Glen Farm polo grounds located 6 miles north of downtown Newport on Route 138/East Main Road, ten minutes by car.
• Public transportation from Newport or Providence is available via RIPTA bus route along East Main Road, leaving the Gateway Center in Newport (23 America's Cup Avenue) or Kennedy Plaza in Providence (Washington & Fulton Street by City Hall).  Visit http://www.ripta.com/schedules for Route #60 schedule,  or call 401-781-9400.
• Polo Trolley from downtown Newport may become available in 2007 by Viking Tours (401) 847-6921.
• From Boston’s South Station, call Bonanza Bus Lines (617) 720-4110 for the Newport bus, which can make stops at Glen Farm in Portsmouth.

• Beach: Sandy Point Beach is a short hike or drive from the polo fields, at the foot of Sandy Point Road.

• Hiking: bridle trails offer pleasant hiking to Sakonnet seashore and Sandy Point Beach
• Historic Glen Farm barn complex is available for self-guided tours.
